Bon Voyage

Our French visitors left Codsall on Tuesday morning and have arrived home safely.

Everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.

French Visit 2017

Easter Saturday, 15th April

The French Coach should arrive at the Village Hall Car Park by noon.

A ‘telephone tree’ will be in place to inform you of the estimated time of arrival.

The remainder of the day will be spent with hosts.

Sunday: With hosts until 18-00

18-00: Reception at the Village Hall: Meal and Barn Dance; Easter Bonnet Parade.

Make sure that you have your Easter Hat with you!

Monday: Visit to Worcester.

If you wish to come along, please inform Vance, as places on the coach will be limited! Obviously, you will be able to make your own way if you prefer.

Leave the Village Hall Car Park at 9am.

Museum visit with lunch provided. Guests paid for by the CBTA, but if any hosts wish to attend, then lunch is £9.95 and museum entry £5.50/ £4.50 (concession).

The afternoon will be free to enjoy Worcester as you wish.

16-30: Back to the coach for return to Codsall, arriving at the Village Hall about 18-00.

Tuesday, 18th April:

Coach leaves the Village Hall Car Park by 08-00am.

Exact time will be announced on the return from Worcester.

French Meal

Saturday 14th May, 6-00pm at the Parish Rooms.


An evening of food, drink and music has been arranged by the Twinning Committee.

From 6pm, welcoming drink and canapés.

Meal (prepared by some of the Committee): Starter, main (choice), dessert and cheese.

Wine will be available.

Live music provided by Malc and Cyn

All inclusive at £20 per person!

We are limited to 40 places, so make sure that you contact Vance or Carol if you wish to attend.

Trip to France

The Happy Days Coach will arrive at the Village Hall car park at 05-45 on Friday, 1st April.
We are booked on the 12-15 Dover to Calais crossing.
Enhanced security measures mean that we must arrive at the ferry by 11-15 and so the coach needs to leave at 06-00!

We expect to return to Codsall by 22-00 on Tuesday, 5th April.
